Breckenrige in February........

On February 9, 2008 in Breckenridge Colorado Jessie Collins joined hands in marriage with Scott Collins, now Mr. & Mrs. Scott Collins. It was a beautiful Colorado blue ski winter day in Breckenridge. I remember Jessie having concerns about the weather when we started planning her wedding day. Never in our wildest dreams did we think weather conditions would include whiteouts, blizzards, and extreme winds leading up to the wedding day. Snow was expected and welcomed and only in Colorado can the weather conditions be so extreme one day, and crystal clear the next. The wedding day was magical, hosted at Main Street Station in Brackenridge Colorado. The ceremony location viewed the ski hill, and the reception room was filled with enchanting blue light and white fabric. My favorite memories of the day were watching Jessie receive a special ring from her Grandmother, witnessing her family share a special moment just before she walked down the aisle, watching tears of love and joy from the bride and groom during the ceremony, a special dance with dad, and children watching in awah. The guests were fantastic, they participated in a heated tent, the chill of the ceremony, consumed coco immediately following, with amazing food served by Hearthstone Catering, and then danced the night away. We got lucky as we were heading out, Scott gracefully entertained the guests with a last dance……….. Please click here to view a few of the many shots taken at the wedding. Additional photos will be posted in two weeks. Scott & Jessie thank you for being so much fun to work with, and Jessie for sharing your beauty with everyone.
Cheers to both of you!!!!

Trash The Dress - Lost Valley Style

When we learned about the hot new trend "Trash The Dress", we instantly thought of Lost Valley Ranch. Fall is our favorite time at Lost Valley Ranch, we spend a weekend each fall at Lost Valley, we celebrate birthdays in the mountains riding horses and dancing the night away to an old fashion squaredance, and most importantly spend time with Bob and Karen Foster. The Fosters have always played a very special part in our lives, and are always game to participate in our next adventure. When Bob was asked if he would mind if we tromped around the ranch on a fall afternnon taking photos, and he said "Sure, as long as the guys dump you in the water bin. Well, Heather didn't make it into the horses water bin, she did however make it on bales of hay, scooped some poop, tromped in the muck, ran in the river, a field, and the grass......and.......took a ride on King George. To see more of the session Click Here. Many thanks to Scott for taking amazing photos, and sharing an extremely fun afternoon at Lost Valley Ranch. I for one loved being his model.
